Sex Scenes

November 25th, 2008 3 Comments

Two of THE FOLD’s writers, Polly Frost and Ray Sawhill, have just released an audio entertainment, SEX SCENES.

It’s a raunchy comic epic that revolves around a young female filmmaker, Kati Paxton, who sets out to make the hottest movie in Hollywood history and how that affects not only her own sex life — but the sex lives of everyone around her. With 33 sizzling actors performing more than 50 roles, 17 hilarious episodes and more positions than the Kama Sutra, all we can say is: you do the math. And you can list to the promo below:

Frost and Sawhill hope to bring outrageous listening fun to commuters everywhere with Sex Scenes, which is on sale at http://sexscenes.info.

THE FOLD’s own Joan of Arc, Julie Atlas Muz, is appearing through the end of August at the eye-popping burlesque circus Absinthe 08 at the Spiegeltent in NYC’s South Street Seaport. Don’t miss the show that the New York Times is calling “Cirque du Soleil as channeled through ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ …A blend of skill, erotic innuendo and zaniness.”

SEE! …the fabulous Miz Muz disrobe inside a giant latex balloon and molest herself with a disembodied hand!

SEE! …Ukrainian acrobats peforming feats of daring in little tiny briefs!

SEE! …deathproof roller-skating couple, The Willers!

Paul Busetti, THE FOLD’s favorite drinking buddy/assistant director, is premiering his feature film BOXING DAY on Thursday, Aug. 7th @ 9:00pm at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, MD.  (which just happens to be Matt Lambert’s hometown, coincidentally enough.)

“Boxing Day” was produced by Paul with his production company TEN SUNDAYS, and directed by FRANCIS ABBEY.  From their official site:  “On the day after Christmas, Emmy Towne brings her boyfriend, Darryl, home to meet her family. Having already struck out twice when introducing a new boyfriend to the rest of the Towne clan, Emmy is terrified of Darryl becoming casualty number three. For Emmy and Darryl’s relationship to escape intact, Darryl will have to survive Emmy’s know-it-all mother, Beverly, her clueless father, Martin, her deviant sister, Grace, and her miscreant brother, Rick.”

And top of all that, the AFI Silver is a beautiful theater to catch a flick in.  Buy your tickets now.

QUIET EARTH is a great movie site “dedicated to Genre Film and everything Post Apocalyptic.” And as far as we’re concerned, that’s all that really matters in movies! They’re written up THE FOLD here.

“The Fold looks like it could go the way of underground cult hit, what with the scifi, the time traveling, and the over the top hedonism.”
